The pronoun “your” and “you” are both singular. It is addressed to the pastor and, consequently, the church, since he is the leader. That is, the church is dead because the pastor is spiritually dead. The pastor should not have been the pastor.

They love being busy but not with the Word of God. What does he want to do and what does he do? A pastor merienda bragged that he only needed an afternoon to prepare six messages, and frequently he would speak without any or with little preparation. Then follow the process. If the pastor refuses to correct his error or the leadership refuses to address the issue and you still believe that the pastor is in sin after all of the discussion, then it is time to leave. It is time to leave because the leadership has failed to act. May the Lord bless you.

. The word “elder” refers to the leader’s character while “overseer” refers to his oversight duties or responsibilities. An overseer is an elder.
